I expect So Tuff So Cute’s vibrant energy to radiate into Barboza’s crowd as they bring their College Tour to Seattle. Made up of Mija and GG Magree, the two play a sound that I can best describe as a headlining party set. The duo is sure to deliver the best of both worlds, ranging from nasty bass to hypno house with a heavy mix of pop-punk, all while jumping on vocals in between. When they aren’t managing the decks and serenading the audience, you might catch them beer-bonging, spitting into each other’s mouths, or jumping into the crowd mid-song.
Mija and Magree started in the industry by throwing parties and raves, and while they have separate projects, when they formed So Tuff So Cute, they brought that energy back with them. The best friend duo has played on some major stages across the globe since then, such as Rampage Open Air, Electric Forest EDC, and Ultra Miami.
With tickets starting at $10, I can’t think of a better way to spend this Thursday night. Their latest release, “Death Wish” with Slush Puppy, will give you a taste of the dynamic duo’s perfectly crafted chaos to hold you over until then.
